NSW WeedWise weed ID app from Department of Primary Industries

Fishers can now access a new free smartphone app on weeds that has been produced by the NSW Department of Primary Industries. The App covers noxious and environmental weeds including water weeds and terrestrial weeds and provides information on identifying and controlling weeds. The NSW WeedWise smartphone app is free and will help save fish habitat by preventing the spread of noxious freshwater weeds.

As well as reducing fish habitat, water weeds can restrict navigation and access to sites, foul fishing gear and damage boat motors.

Get NSW WeedWise on the App Store and Google Play or view online at www.weeds.dpi.nsw.gov.au
